El Monte Promise Foundation establishes Parent Advisory Council, and begins the launch of the Scholars Savings Program. The foundation also initiates the EMPF internship program, and convenes an elected officials briefing.
El Monte Promise Foundation Board of Directors adopts the foundation’s five-year strategic plan and develops a shared Mission and Vision statements, a 1st-8th grade Financial Literacy Curriculum, and a Fundraising Plan.
